I’m Shai Yallin and have been breathing since January 1981.

I’m a software developer doing Java and PHP work. I wrote my first code in the age of 13 using Turbo Pascal 7 and have more or less coded ever since. I’m an advocate of getting the job right the first time and follow such bloggers as Martin Fowler or Joel Spolsky. I currently work for Relative Share, a start-up which has just been founded.

In my spare time, I play keyboards and am doing the production work for Solstice Coil. I also cook and sometime publish my recipes.

This blog will (hopefully) contain some musings from my coder persona; for my rock-star persona or cook persona, see the aforementioned sites 🙂
